Set in the gently undulating foothills of Bodmin Moor Rosecraddoc Manor boasts a history that dates back to the Domesday Book. Rebuilt in the 1820's it is Grade II listed together with the two bridges in the grounds one of which forms part of the entrance drive. The manor house and coach house have been converted into apartments all furnished and equipped to a very high standard with many luxurious touches that will appeal to the most discerning of visitors. Some of the accommodation features four poster beds and some offer spa baths. All accommodation boasts the benefit of a sauna.
Riverview and Riverbank enjoy a secluded position on the banks of the small cascading river with pretty aspects across the river and parkland towards the lake these two cottages include special features to make them suitable for wheelchair users.
Lakeview stands about 75 yards from the manor in an enviable postion overlooking the fishing lake and enjoys particularly beautiful views from its first floor sitting room and large balcony.
Rosecraddoc Manor is surrounded by 35 acres of natural gardens and bluebell woods that beckon to you to stroll along its footpaths. The lake is well stocked for coarse fishing with carp roach and bream (a rod licence is required barbless hooks must be used at all times and fishing rules respected). The all weather tennis court can be enjoyed April October for this sheltered corner of south east Cornwall boasts mild autumns and a spring that arrives joyously early. There are several pubs locally and a leisurely stroll to the foot of the drive and across the road leads to a licensed bar 'The Village Inn' which offers an extensive menu including children's meals barbecues and live entertainment regularly during the high season. It also has a large screen TV pool room and childrens games making it an ideal venue for all the family.
Lux Park an excellent leisure centre with an indoor swimming pool is just 2 miles away in the market town of Liskeard. Sports equipment can be hired if required for badminton squash short tennis and indoor bowling.
Looe 8 miles away has many attractions sandy beaches sea angling boat hire and parascending and for the less active a good selection of tea shops inns and restaurants offering the ideal place to watch the world go by.
