One of the most attractive cottages in the picturesque village of St. Abbs, this charming detached house nestles into the hillside above the harbour. The cliffs to the north are home to a variety of sea birds and a nature reserve has been set up there. St Abbs is still an active fishing harbour and is also a diving centre. There are lovely coastal walks and ample of places of interest to visit. This old fisherman's cottage has lovely views to the sea - smaller side windows face the harbour and the owner thoughtfully provides a telescope for visitors to watch all the quayside activities. The cottage is light, airy and comfortable, with much homely character and charm, ideal for a family holiday. At the front of the cottage, beside a path down to the harbour, there is a patio area with garden seat, a sun-trap for outdoor relaxing. Visitors park up the hill and walk down the path (30 yards) to reach the cottage. Shops 100 yards. 1 spacious and comfortable double bedroom, 1 triple bedded room, both with side and front windows and coombed ceilings.
