Reached along its own leafy driveway with aspects over barley fields, this cosy conversion of an 18th-century coach house retains many attractive stone and timber features. Visitors enjoy use of their own secluded garden leading to an orchard – home to friendly bantams. Ideal holiday base for exploring the surrounding dramatic Welsh scenery and the English towns of Chester and Shrewsbury. Llangollen (6 miles) on the River Dee offers steam railway and horse-drawn narrow boats. Erddig Hall, Chirk Castle, golf/riding within 4 miles. Leisure centre, climbing, fishing 1 mile. Shops 1 mile.
