A pretty, single-storey semi-detached lifeguard’s cottage, located half a mile from the seaside village of Passage East in County Waterford. Cosy and comfortable inside, this Passage East cottage has two delightful bedrooms with beautiful period ornamental fireplaces, and a sitting room with a warming open fire, while outside, the cottage has an enclosed garden with lawn and patio surrounded by lavender to the rear, great for children to play out, and an enclosed garden with a seat to the front, ideal for taking in the lovely sea views on offer. Passage East is just 10 minutes' walk away and is home to a lovely long beach and great travelling links to Ballyhack and the Hook Peninsula. Waterford City is just a little further and has lots of activities for all the family. This is a great Passage East cottage all year round.

| The fishing village of Passage East lies on the west bank of Waterford Harbour, and is home to a long beach. Passage East is a great location for fishing, and is famous for its mussel beds, and celebrates this with its annual festival each September. From Passage East you can catch a ferry and make the short journey to Ballyhack, and from there travel down to the Hook Peninsula. A short drive from Passage East will take you to Waterford City; known as the capital of South East Ireland, Waterford has something to satisfy all tastes. Golf, walking, angling, watersports and equestrian sports are all on offer in Waterford, alongside numerous pubs, shops and restaurants. Whether it is a quiet day by the sea, or a stroll around a vibrant city you're after, Passage East is a great base, any time of year. |
