| This lovely apartment is on the first floor of a refurbished tenement and it enjoys a quiet aspect. The interior has been refurbished to offer a smart, modern holiday home, ideal for a couple. There is a pleasant shared rear garden with garden furniture and a barbecue. The street is quiet (one way traffic system) and there is metered parking nearby. Sciennes is located within the popular Newington area next to the Meadows, a short walk from the historic Old Town. The city centre is approx 1 mile away with excellent public transport serving the area day and night. This is also a good base from which to explore the city on foot as numerous central attractions and Festival venues are nearby, including the Queen's Hall, Festival and Pleasance Theatres. Visitors are spoilt for choice with a wonderful array of shops, caf bars, pubs and restaurants in and around the area. The Meadows is host to a various events throughout the year and is a lovely open green space to enjoy a walk or a picnic. 1 double bedroom, compact lounge / dining room / kitchen with deluxe futon bed, shower-room and separate wc. Cooking by gas hob/electric oven, gas central heating. Fridge, washer/dryer, microwave, portable television, CD player. Bed linen and towels provided. |
