The owner whose property is situated next to the cottage, offers free salmon and trout fishing with tackle hire and tuition by arrangement. Excellent walking possibilities are available along the Cateran Trail which meanders through glens hills and farmland. Nearby Pitlochery offers a festival theatre, distillery, fine dining, fish ladder and Blair Castle ancient home to the Atholl Highlanders to explore. Royal Deeside and Balmoral are an easy drive. Excellent golf courses within thirty minutes. Shop and pub serving food six miles. |
