Two detached, thatched cottages, part of a group of twelve, situated around the village green in the centre of the village of Puckane, 6 miles from the town of Nenagh, County Tipperary. Fully refurbished and decorated, these Puckane holiday cottages retain much original character and charm, including a thatched roof, open fire and exposed beams. The flexible sleeping arrangements in these Puckane cottages make them ideal for families or groups of friends, and being located within such close proximity to the amenities of Puckane, and Lough Derg, the cottages make a great base for touring the area. Take the short walk to Lough Derg and indulge in a spot of fishing, sailing or water sports, or even take a stroll along the shore, visit Portumna and spend the day looking around the castle, gardens and Forest Park, or visit Cahir Castle, one of Ireland's largest and best preserved castles. After a busy day, return to one of these lovely thatched Puckane cottages to sit out in the evening sun, or curl up in front of the open fire.

Just six miles from Nenagh, County Tipperary is the lovely village of Puckane. The village is situated on the banks of the beautiful Lough Derg which is the Republic of Ireland's second largest lake. The village of Puckane has a traditional Irish pub called Kennedy's Pub, a shop and a tennis court. In the centre of the village are twelve holiday cottages which are situated around the village green. Head to the shores on Lough Derg for a spot of fishing, sailing and watersports.
Nearby is the bustling town of Nenagh. Two attractions that are worth visiting are Nenagh Castle that dates back to 1216, and the old gaol and Heritage Centre.
Just eighteen miles away from Puckane is the pretty town of Portumna. Attractions here include Portumna Castle and Gardens and Portumna Forest Park. The Forest Park is fantastic for walkers and cyclists.
With lots to see and do, this part of County Tipperary is an ideal base all year round.
