Derry City -40 Miles.

Derry or Londonderry, often called the Maiden City, is a city in Northern Ireland. The old walled city of Londonderry lies on the west bank of the River Foyle. Derry has a distinct architectural quality from other Irish cities. This quality can be primarily ascribed to the formal planning of the historic walled city of Londonderry within the walls.

Letterkenny - 22 Miles.

The town is a popular nightlife location for the local catchment area - especially at the weekends and particularly for visitors from Derry City and from across the rest of Ulster. The Main Street, originally the retail centre of the town, has become a centre for popular night clubs and pubs. There is a large cinema complex in the town. Located on Canal Lane, Century Cinemas is an eight-screen cinema with full car parking facilities. An Grianán Theatre, the largest theatre in County Donegal with a seating capacity of 383. The Letterkenny Arts Centre provides a constant throughput of new blood. The town proved it had the capacity to host major festivals by recently playing host to the annual Irish traditional music festival, the Fleadh Cheoil for two consecutive years. Both festivals were organised by Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.

Several Glorious sandy beaches and one of the finest Golf Courses in the West of Ireland. The Portsalon golf course runs along the beautiful sandy shores of Ballymastoker Bay, stretching for two miles towards where the mouth of the deep blue Lough Swilly meets the Atlantic Ocean. The beach boasts the EC Blue Flag award for its cleanliness. The Lough is trapped, to the east by the hills of the Inishowen peninsula, and to the west by the Knockalla Mountains. If you are lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the rare European Rock Dove that has made the coastline of the Fanad peninsular its home.
