All York attractions are within easy level walking including Jorvik and Railway Museums Castle Museum and Treasurer's House. York Minster is just 300 yards. Cycle hire 50 yards. Further afield Castle Howard Nunnington Hall are within ½ hours drive. Pickering with North York Moors Steam Train Helmsley and Thirsk all within ½ hours drive. Good dining pub 100 yards.
